Magnet- PHET Lab Faraday's Electromagnetic Lab RECORD YOUR ANSWERS FOR EACH OF THE QUESTIONS IN Parts I, II and III. If needed, you can submit your answer on a Google Doc that includes your name, period, Part # and Question # with your answer. Google PhET and then open the PhET website. Go to the Faraday's Electromagnetic Lab (choose the V5 version). At the top of the screen are several tabs that take you to different magnets. Begin with the Bar Magnet tab. Part I. Bar Magnet On the screen you should have a bar magnet and a compass. 1. Compare the magnetic field around the bar magnet (represented by the little arrows) to the electric field around a positive and negative charge. (If you've forgotten what that looks like, open the simulation "Charges and Fields" and check.)
