Maintaining social distancing is key to delay the spread of COVID-19 in Hong Kong. The HKSAR Government has put in place the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirement and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F), Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirement and Directions) (Business and Premises) (Amendment) Regulation 2020 and Prevention and Control of Disease (Prohibition on Group Gathering) Regulation (Cap. 599G). Explain the nature of these regulations and the circumstances under which these regulations can become void. (30 marks)
