1) Learning style theory suggests that people vary in terms of how they prefer to perceive and process new experiences. What similarities and differences do you observe in how you and your supervisor perceive and process new experiences in your work setting? Do you believe that the learning style similarities or differences between you and your supervisor play a role in your relationship, the supervisory process, and/or your learning? If so, how? If not, why not?

2) Have you ever had the responsibility of supervising someone in a job or in any formal organizational structure? What methods did you use to maintain communication, to provide feedback, and to ensure quality? What did you find to be the most challenging aspects of being a supervisor? What did you find to be most rewarding or satisfying? How might your own experiences as a supervisor shed light on your current relationship with your internship supervisor?
