1. Make a list of all the payroll related policies and procedures documents in your organisation.
2. How are they formatted? For example, do they contain flowcharts, or numbered lists, instructions and/or images?
3. Are these documents easy to read and follow? What suggestions could you make to improve the format and layout?
4. How do each of these documents support the payroll process?
5. Do they provide enough information for you to follow the steps required to complete different stages of the payroll process?

Once you have completed this, you will need to:

1. Develop a flowchart outlining the basic steps (or tasks) that need to be performed within each pay run for employee reimbursements. Your flowchart should be similar to the example provided on previous slides.
2. Add any inputs to specific tasks, where information is required from sources outside the payroll department.
