Make a presentation and asking questions about this article. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-08-17/tiktok-fights-election-misinformation-ahead-of-us-midterms TikTok Reinforces its Ban of Paid Political Influencers TikTok is trying to stop misleading information about the U.S 2022 midterm elections from spreading throughout the platform. The app owners have already banned paid political advertisements throughout the site and any videos identified as such will be restricted and revised or removed. Normal or "organic" users of the app are able to post videos about the election or anything politically related as long as they follow the community guidelines. This means that "organic" users cannot spread information that condones violence, harassment of election workers, misinformation about where to vote, etc. There will also be an election center created in order to spread correct and non-biased information about said elections to keep those who want to know, updated.
