Draw a scatter plot of real GDP and CPI index. CPI index can be substituted with GDP price index (GDP deflator).

Distinction between blue dots and red dots is preferred but is not required. You can earn a full credit without this distinction.

Submit the scatter plot and the raw data in one file. MS EXCEL is preferred. Other kind of spread sheet programs can be used also. I will create an assignment on the Blackboard, on which you can upload your file. Example 1: Both the real GDP and the price level trended higher since 1929. Blue points indicate years of growing real GDP, and red points are years of declining real GDP.
