The agency aims to provide a safe and nurturing environment for young children who are struggling to cope with their circumstances.

The agency receives financial support (grants funded through foundations)from donors that contribute towards administration costs such as off ice rent, wages etc. Donations also come from members of the public who wish to provide financial support whenever they can afford it. Identify why you chose this agency?The reason why I chose this agency is because of the kind of service it provides to clients. I believe its services are very essential and beneficial to children who are being tortured by their own families.I think working at Glasswing International would be a great opportunity for me because this would give me an insight into the kind of services the agency offers to children and other individuals who are being abused by their families. This agency would also give me a chance to work with professionals in different fields like psychologists, counselors, social workers etc. which could improve my communication and inter-personal skills in the process.

What makes this agency of interest to you and any other thoughts you have regarding the agency. Whether working here is a better opportunity for me or not, I would definitely like to work here. The reason is because given all the information provided by my supervisor and the agency's website, I do know that they provide all these services to clients at no cost. The agency also offers its support services 24hours a day 7 days a week, which means that they are available 24 hours a day seven days a week which would be an advantage because it gives them the opportunity to assist more people with urgent needs. Was the website user friendly;Yes, the site was user friendly and there was information about the agency's services which are provided to clients. This would encourage me as a client to know more about the agency and its services

I thought that the website from Glasswing International was very well designed. The website provided all the necessary information about the agency and its services rendered to clients in different territories. The website gave a clear picture of what Glasswing International is all about, which is the child protection and support system in the greater Vancouver area.

Is there information missing from the website that you think would be helpful?

I thought that the website did not provide enough information on how to apply for employment at Glasswing International. I thought that more documentation would have been helpful especially when it comes to resumes. I think the website could really benefit from a public relations campaign because I think in order to attract more clients and applicants, they need to promote their services by doing advertising. I thought that the agency had little money to advertise but with a little bit of advertising, this agency will be able to afford such improvement in its services as well as keep its name going around. I also think that the website could be improved by providing a more detailed description of each service provided.

What aspect of the website do you think worked well, and was most meaningful? I think the agency did a very good job at showcasing its services. The brochures on the website were very informative and detailed as they describe various services offered to clients by the agency. Also, there was a lot of information about Glasswing International's service delivery model which is based on the Child Centered and Solution Focused approach. It provided project descriptions in different regions of British Columbia that show its commitment towards serving children who have been victims of abuse and neglect.

I also think that it shows its commitment to make life-saving changes in those young children's lives that are being abused right now. My experience with Glasswing International has made me very proud of the work I have done, and I hope it would help others in similar situations to get out of those abusive homes and families.
