Make your own contract with an imaginary partner, and chose either something in the entertainment field (between entertainer and venue,) home repair (between contractor and home owner) or sports area (player and franchise.) Concentrate on the terms of contracts in general, method of service, payment, penalties for breach or default, specific items that are included or excluded, etc. Be creative and limit your contract to one page. Try to put in everything that you'll need in the contract as far as terms of the contract, but don't worry about the legalese specifically. - ZOOM + New Jersey Entertainment Standard Contract This is a legally binding contract that will become final within three business days. During this period you may choose to consult an attorney who can review and/ or cancel the contract. Contract of Entertainment Employment 1. Kenny Chesney (entertainer) whose address is 222 Pleasant Lane agrees to perform at Susquehanna Bank Center on July 14, 2012 from 6 pm to 10:30 pm. 2. The amounts paid to Kenny Chesney will be $60,000 for completion of entire concert. Entertainer will be reimbursed for traveling expenses and mileage and any lost expenses if concert is canceled due to harsh weather conditions. The event has been ticketed as "rain or shine." If not one spectator shows up entertainer will still be compensated full amount for the event. 3. Breach of contract will result in a loss of $28,000 at entertainers expense to cover full venue costs for the entire day. Concert has potential of being rescheduled if harsh weather conditions arise. 4. Photography and Recording rights states as follows: Spectators are allowed to enter venue with cell phones and standard cameras so long as flash is disabled. 5. Venues policy on sales of shirts, posters, and memorabilia states as follows: 25% of all sales occurring at concert will be awarded to entertainer. 6. Sound and lighting will be provided by venue at entertainers request of company being used. Operator of lighting and sound will also be provided. 7. Insurance and Security will be provided for 48 hours beginning on July 14,2012 at 2 pm and ending on July 15, 2012 at 12 pm.
