Malaysia started its journey on sustainable development in the 1970s when the New Economic Policy (NEP) was introduced in 1970 to eradicate poverty and restructure societal imbalance. The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice. The 17 Goals are all interconnected, and in order to leave no one behind, it is important that we achieve them all by 2030. In your opinion, what are the TWO challenges that are faced by our government to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 1, 'No Poverty', which is one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in engrossing The Agenda 2030.
