(Note: the presentation itself will not have a grade by itself , yet if a presentation is not preformed or if the presentation is of poor quality it will impact the general grade of the project) Business Idea description: a description of the business Idea , the product ( or service provided) and the reasoning behind choosing this idea (what makes this product or service special and competitive). (2 grades) Brief market analysis: an analysis of the market that the business will be competing in , and why this business will be able to succeed in this market. (2 grades) Product (or service) financial details: the expected costs and the proposed price of the product (or service) . Note : the details are best when they reflect reality (explain that reasoning behind choosing these numbers, and the price should also be explained). (3 grades) Estimated financial data: an estimate for one years worth of financial data ( Contribution margin income statement for one year in the future). (2 grades) A complete Cost-Volume-profit analysis: based on the estimated financial data a complete CVP analysis is required ( Break-even-point in both sales and units , a target profit estimation in both sales and units , the margin of safety and margin of safety ratio , the operating leverage of the business , and a sales mix analysis if applicable). (5 grades) The budgets: the future budgets for the period of 3 months based upon the financial data estimated and the expectations for the business growth. (5 grades) The required amount of capital needed: the capital that you are asking the banking institution for and an explanation of the capital needs (why do you need this specific amount). (1 grade)
