Management of a small nautical base PETRI NETS MODELLING The goal of this task is to show how this problem can be modeled using Petri nets . You can make your own assumptions according to the subject. We want to model the operation of a small nautical base for a day. The base is only open to club members. Club members have one badge per family which allows them to enter the water sports center. The number of people present at the same time on the base is limited to 20 including the staff. On the base, there is a reception, lockers, showers, a bar and the quay where the boats are moored. The staff is made up of three people: one who is at the reception and who takes care of the rental boats, one at the bar and one that delivers and collects the boats from the quay. The latter two may temporarily be present and work at the front desk, but not both at the same time. Families are made up of two or four people and always stay together. It is assumed that during a day, a family can use each equipment of the base at most once. The bar has 3 tables of 4 people and bar service is provided by the barman. It is assumed that the family that enters the bar, waits to be greeted, and is only served one time. We can't go in if no table is available. The base has 6 lockers and 4 showers. It is assumed that each family can occupy a maximum of one locker and as many showers as there are family members. If there are not enough showers available, the family must wait. There are two types of boats: 5 small with 2 places and 3 large with 4 places. Adults can take a family of four, two families of two or a single family of two. For going out to sea, families must go to reception to obtain authorization and reserve a boat. The number of authorizations available per day depends on the season, in high season there are 15 while in low season there are only 10. If there is no boat available, the authorization is not issued. Then, the families who have obtained the authorizations must be taken on board by the personnel of the wharf. Access to the sea (for departure and return) is through a lock which can hold a maximum of 2 boats. Before entering the lock, the boats wait their turn nearby. The return is done in the same way, using the dock staff who inform reception of the return of the boat. QUESTION : Model in Petri nets the operation of the nautical base during a day. We want to know in particular where the club members, staff and families are at all times to check if the rules announced are correct. If necessary Make your own assumptions
