Managerial Accounting textbooks talk a lot about production environments, but how about an analogoua discussion about a service based business, such as health care? would an emergency room operation be considered a job or process coating environment? would a small flu shot clinic (possibly set up three days a week in a drugstore) be considered a job or process costing environment? what are your thoughts on this?
