Managerial Decision Making

Sufficient planning is almost synonymous with success in the corporate world. In organizational planning, communication is integral to the success of a given project. Communication passes information and resources from one level of the organization to another (Stewart et al., 2019). Often, communication is engraved into the organizational culture of an organization. In other words, communication must be responsive or adaptive to the organizational culture. According to Syahruddin et al. (2020), communication and organizational culture are some variables that affect employee motivation and performance to the greatest extent. Communication should be consistent, using the usual communication channels. For instance, work communication should use specified modes so that there is a certainty that any message from a colleague via email is essential. According to Veri & poljari (2020), establishing a clear channel of communication is critical.

Socialand BusinessInteractions

Interactions between teams and organizations are inevitable. In the present case, teams from different countries will meet for business negotiations. For this reason, the exchanges must be professional, which is vital in facilitating the targeted transaction and preventing adverse conflict (Stewart et al., 2019). However, the extensive interaction expected in the magnitude of the business demand that there be social interactions, which are essential in developing a sense of friendship, an integral part of successful business relations. Aspects of social and business interactions that need to be avoided are interactions that may result in inappropriate behavior, such as excessive consumption of alcohol on any occasion that may be part of the business. According to Bernstein et al. (2020), interactions in business settings should consider diversity and the need for inclusion and be equitable. Therefore, I must ensure that my team is aware of the various cultural considerations involved in avoiding culturally offensive behavior or actions. For instance, some cultures may be strict observers of protocols, such as not working on a Sabbath, and respecting these cultural nuances is essential.

Aspects of Culture

Culture plays an essential role in the lives of individuals and, by extension, organizations' lives. Respecting the aspects of the culture of the individuals is as necessary as respecting the organizational culture. In Brazil, the culture of Brazilians includes an appreciation of music and dance. This lively nature of Brazilian culture remains mostly the same in business transactions, as Brazil's business culture is relaxed. Indian culture, on the other hand, is hierarchical, so if the highest-ranking team members are absent, there may not be decision-making. In sharp contrast to Brazil, India, and Nigeria, the Finns are crisp and formal in their business interactions. Finally, Nigerians prefer personal and close relationships in business interactions.

Conclusion

To this end, the business transaction between my company and the Indian multinational company is critical to my company, thus the need to ensure its success. In the transaction, there will be various interactions, including social and business transactions. Diversity calls for understanding diverse cultures, ensuring fruitful interaction, and avoiding unnecessary conflict. In addition to understanding the different cultures, there is a need to have communication channels that enrich the relationships between my team members and the relationship with other stakeholders.
