Many community pantries are being put up in around the country, including Baguio. This is pioneered by Ana Patricia Non's Maginhawa Community Pantry on Maginhawa Street, Teacher's Village, Diliman, Quezon City, near UP Diliman. It started only this April but the community pantry movement is spreading rapidly,inspiring Filipinos to relive the spirit of "bayanihan". Certainly, much more can be done, not only by individual citizens but by corporations too.
