1. Many have argued that Canada needs a national daycare program to support women working. Across the country, quality daycare is a luxury, out of reach for many families. Women's participation in the workforce and our economic productivity suffers as a result. What is your thought on this, do you agree or disagree? 2. Public or private: Canada's ever-lasting debate about how to solve health care: There are many ongoing debates on the future of Medicare. Many conservatives feel that there should be a private option for those who can afford it. People on the left argue that the Health Care safety net, again hasn't kept pace with the times. Should the Canadian Health System go PRIVATE or stay PUBLIC? Give your opinions. Which system do you prefer?

3. Governments use the tools they have to boost the economy. When the economy slows and unemployment rises, governments will generally spend more. Low-interest rates encourage spending - which can boost the economy. A side effect, which isn't always good, is that low borrowing rates can cause housing prices in an area to increase. At times, that can create artificially high housing prices or a housing bubble. Bank of Canada has lately increased interest rates to slow down the housing market in Canada which may also bring some recession in the overall economy. What are your thoughts on the steps taken by Govt (raising interest rates). Is it a wise decision taken by the Bank of Canada or not?
