Another example is a manager training a new employee. Lastly spending too much time with guests/customers. One way a manager can stay more focused on their true responsibilities of planning, organizing, and leading is to have a strong staff. If a manager had a good supervisor they don't have to worry too much about the little things. Another tool to help managers stay focused is to identify what they spend too much time on. If they spend too much time helping out the cooking staff, then they need to identify why they need so much help.
