Many of you will find this article to be a wake-up call. Especially parents. Our first three years of life significantly impact multiple aspects of our adult life. Obviously, a three-year-old has little input into the quality of their life, so parents/family are everything. The environment created by our parents can either help or hinder our development. This is not of ill-intent, many parents have never enrolled in a Human Growth and Development class or accessed technical information about parenting. As you will read, vocabulary appears to be the cornerstone of creativity and success, but it is more about the overall environment in which we develop these attributes. As you read consider how this applies to your personal experience, and if a parent, the experiences of your children.
