Maria Antonios May 12, 2024May 12 at 8:21am Hello Professor and fellow classmates, My current employer uses each one of the 4 control systems. They are a very innovative company, so they are always rolling out new ideas or ways to do things. When they begin it is in the Preliminary Control stage where they roll it out with a pilot program and get feedback as it rolls out. Next, they work on the concurrent control stage and get feedback once it rolls out and it is being used by one of the Teams. As it progresses for a few months it then goes into the Rework Control stage, and this is where changes will need to happen before they roll it out to the entire company. Once it rolls out to the entire company it will be in the Damage Control stage as we get surveys and feedback and make the necessary changes. I feel that this way works but I would like to see more thorough observations of the Rework Control. I feel that sometimes things that don't work well aren't communicated as effectively in the rework stage. You need to have colleagues who are comfortable speaking out or asking questions. If you don't then when it goes to the next stage, you will be doing a lot of damage control. It is important for companies to have a good communication system in place for feedback
