incurred $16,700 in medical expenses. Nathan and Denise requested an additional $32,000 and
$10,000 respectively for their pain and suffering and Nathan demanded an $10,000 in lost
wages. Mark was held responsible for the accident. The state where Mark lived does not have
a no-fault insurance law.
