"Math Concepts - Playing With Toys"

Guidelines:

Choose 4 preschool math concept toys/activities such as patterning, measurement, one to onecorrespondence,comparing and contrasting, etc....... and answering the following questions:

"Play" with the toys keeping in mind all the math areas we have been studying. Then, write ideas about how many different math concepts could be practiced using each toy.

Math concepts:

1. Estimations 2. Sorting buttons by COLOR 3. Sorting buttons by SHAPE 4. Sorting buttons by the number of holes 5. Creating and extending patterns with buttons 6. (If you have a scale) Heavy and light, more or less.
