Drag force is computed with formula D=21v2SCd a) Draw free body diagrain of forces on the car b) Compute the dray and rolling friction forces when car has speed of v=27m/s(97kph) c) We want to compute theorctical top speed of car, for different engines w/ paver artputs P=20kw (26.8 hp), P=110kw(147hp). We assume =20% of power generated by engine is lost in transmission ( 80\%, of power generaled by engine goes to whee ls) Hint: Use the analytical toolbox to compute the speeds, by solumg a zro degree polynomial. At constant speed, the power sent to the wheels is equall to the pover dissipated by the dray and friction forces (P=(F+D)v)
