(MATLAB) The Stroop effect is one of the most cited and replicated effects in psychology. In experiments on the effect, color words (red, green, etc.) are printed in either the color that matches the word (e.g. word red printed in red ink), or in a different color (e.g. word red printed in yellow ink). There is strong interference in terms of how quickly people can name the ink color of a word presented on the screen when that color is not congruent with printed word. For example, if the word red is written in green it will take you longer to say green than if the word on the screen was green (in green ink).
Create a script called StroopExpPart1.m that does the following:
a) The experiment will be designed to have 2 conditions for task (congruent or incongruent color) and 6 conditions for words (red, green, blue, yellow, orange, white). Create a matrix that stores this information for each trial (12 total). This can be done as numbers or words (i.e. cell arrays) or however you choose.
