Feed flow rate of gas containing 0.129 mol\% methane is 100kmol/h. It is expected that 95% of the methane to be removed. Entering liquid ammonia is pure and this process operates with L/V=1.4(L/V)min. Assume total gas and liquid rates are constant. Equilibrium relation at given temperature is: ymethane=20.57 methane . 1) Define the problem (Draw a sketch; include the given data; and identify what you would need to estimate). 2) Explore the problem (Check if all the assumptions are valid). 3) Plan and do it. a.
