Apple CEO Steve Jobs was well-known for his electrifying presentations. Jobs used successful presentation techniques to captivate and inspire his audience, many of which can be easily applied to various workplace presentations.

Instructions

1. Locate a source that could help you develop a presentation, e.g. Toastmasters, MindTools, Indeed, TED Talks, Grammarly, Forbes, Write Out Loud, Inc., MasterClass, Global Public Speaking, etc.
2. Based on your review of course content and outside research,put together a" guide" for your department on how to create an effective presentation. Include the following:
   • Discuss presentation techniques used by Steve Jobs for giving successful presentations
   • Which of these techniques have you seen in action and why did you think they were effective?
   • Summarize three key pieces of information that would help individuals know what TO DO when developing and/or giving a presentation
   • Summarize three key pieces of information about what NOT TO DO during a presentation
