(Note: For the above question 1, you can do by hand, or by excel using (=average () function for the mean In Excel, =stdev.p () function for population standard deviation, and =stdev.s() function for sample standard deviation), or you can do in SPSS using the Analyze--> Descriptive ---> Explore command. Question 2: Which graphs and charts do we use for Categorical (Qualitative) Variables? How about Quantitative variables? Question 3: Data: 62, 67, 68, 68, 69, 70, 72, 61, 74, 59, 77, 61, 92, 93, 91, 82, 80, 74, 105, 101, 90, 90, 90, 91, 51. a.) Find the Measures of Center or Mean, Median, and Mode (the mode is the number that occurs most frequently) of the data! (Note: For part a, you can find the mean and median in excel ( = average() for the mean and =median() for the median, or if by hand you can use the (N+1)/2 rule). b.)
