Group Project

Purpose

Apply project management planning concepts learned throughout the course including plans for scope, time, budget, resources, quality, risk, communication, and project monitoring.

Demonstrate understanding of the project procurement process.

Instructions

Prepare a comprehensive project management plan for one of the projects from Group Assignments 2 and 3. Submit as a single pdf plus separate Excel file for time-based budget. The plan must include:

Title page with group number, student names, ID numbers, course name and code, project title and date	/2
Table of contents with section numbering and page numbers	/3

Project stakeholder analysis table and power/interest grid (minimum 10 stakeholders)	/10

Time-based budget (S curve): include in project management plan but ALSO submit S curve Excel file with supporting information for budget details in appendix (example: cost of cabinets for kitchen project must be based on current pricing and appropriate links/info provided)	/15
Quality management plan including three clearly defined quality-related requirements and the approach to measure/confirm compliance and address non-compliance	/15
Risk management register with minimum five risks, risk response plans and contingency plans	/15

*Use the content from Group Assignments 2 and 3 as a starting point for these parts of the project management plan. Incorporate feedback from the previous assignments.

Outline submission (5% of grade): Submit outline of project management plan including title page, table of contents, section headings (with appropriate numbering), and bullet list of content that will be included in each section. Feedback will be provided on the outline submission to assist you in finalizing the project management plan. Submit as a single pdf.

The project submissions must be posted into the FOL Submission Folder by the due date and time indicated in the FOL course calendar (the deadline is also indicated in the FOL Submission Folder).

Late submissions: penalty of 25% per day.
