MHF4U Advanced Functions Culminating Project This assessment is worth 10% of your final grade mark. The remaining 20% will be in the form of a written exam during the exam period for this quadmester, (Tuesday, June 25). This assessment will require the following: 1. Five (5) questions that you create. Your questions must cover each chapter of the textbook that we have covered. Note that you may find it useful to combine ideas spanning different chapters such as Chapter 1 and 2, or Chapter 6 and 7. Overlapping of ideas and topics from different chapters in your questions is encouraged. . Questions should not be overly complicated (i.e. should not require more than Grade 12 Advanced Functions). Your questions should be problems you would expect to see on MHF4U final exam. . You should attempt to type out your questions (if possible). 2. Five (5) solutions for each question that you construct. Your solution must be handwritten. Your solution must be organized, neat and easy to read. . . Your solution must include all steps you believe are pertinent to your solution. 3. Five (5) reflective responses for each question you have constructed and answered. Your reflective response should try to include an explanation of what you want the student solving your question to demonstrate in terms of knowledge of the topics covered in the course If possible, include comments such as where students might make mistakes and strategies, they should use to either avoid these mistakes, or to answer the problem in general. Explain why you chose to come up with the question you did. When submitting your Culminating Project please follow these instructions: 1. Staple the cover sheet provided as the front page of your submitted work 2. Each question, solution and reflective response should be on its own page. 3.
