In this assignment, you will use your knowledge of advanced functions and desmos.com to create an design that creates awareness about Clean water ( global goal ).

Your first step is to research and find out more information on this global goal. You will share some of the key points of your research, your message and the design.

Create a design that meets the following expectations:

  • Must be creative - have a message that is important and relevant

  • Must include at least one of each of the functions below:
    • Polynomial function of even degree (greater than 2)
    • Polynomial function of odd degree (greater than 1)
    • Exponential function
    • Logarithmic function
    • Trigonometric function
    • Rational function
    • A sum/ difference/ product or quotient of two of the above functions
    • A composite function

  • You must provide a "legend" (complete the chart on the next page):
    • State the original functions for each part of the design and the parent function for each function used.
    • State domain and range for the original functions for each of the following: polynomials (odd or even), rational functions, exponential functions, logarithmic functions, trigonometric functions, one composite and one combined function.
