Miller-Perrin et al. (2021), our textbook authors, introduced different methods of measuring VMIR. They also provided several reasons why estimating the scope of VMIR can be difficult. If you are to conduct a survey to find out how prevalent and severe VMIR issues are in your own community, 1) which survey method do you think will be most effective (e.g., in-person, online, mail, in-person or phone interviews, door-to-door visits, etc.), 2) for what reasons do you expect this method to be effective, and 3) what might be the potential barriers or challenges for you to estimate VMIR using the survey method you described?
