Milton Friedman's article on 'corporate social responsibility' 50 years ago continues to spark a great deal of debate. For this essay, do the following:

1. Take a position on whether you believe he's correct or incorrect.
2. Defend your position (pro or con) by discussing at least two specific examples he cites in the article: indicate whether you do or do not find either (or both) most convincing for you in your thinking about whether you support or oppose his position.
