Mini-Project: Password Compromise

Information security breaches occur multiple times a year. The credentials that are compromised are usually bought and sold on the dark web, where threat actors use them to conduct further breaches. This mini-project discusses the January 2019 disclosure of Collection #1, a data breach collection of 1,160,253,228 unique combinations of email addresses and corresponding passwords.

Armed with this information, you can warn your peers and coworkers about the dangers of using the same password on multiple sites and not changing them often.
