Minor Project Trend Analysis: Students will perform a financial trend analysis that is due in Week 5:

For the Minor Project, each student will need to work on this independently and submit their work.

• Select a publicly traded company and obtain its annual financial statements over the past five years.

1. Conduct a trend analysis on the company's financial performance over five years (use the text as a guide on developing the trend analysis).
2. Include in your paper the company's vision and mission or a brief background of the company's business operations. Also, examine the companys corporate social responsibility statement and reflect on it in your paper.
3. Include tables and charts for relevant data in your analysis.
4. The paper should contain 1,500 words with a minimum of five references from the text and other resources supporting your findings.
5. Your paper should be in APA format including a cover page, number pages size 12 font, all photos, all tables, graphs and charts need to be put in the appendix and not included as part of the word count , include abstract, double space your work. If you decide to quote others then you need to put a minimum of four sentences in your own words for each sentence you use from others to keep the similarity score to no more then 20% max.
