MK130: Marketing and Sales Ecosystem Management - Portfolio Project 1 Show what you have Learned by Being a Thought Leader Thought leadership is a type of content marketing where you tap into the talent, experience, and passion inside a business, or from your community, to consistently answer the biggest questions on the minds of your target audience on a particular topic. Thought leaders become the trusted sources who move and inspire people with innovative ideas; turn ideas into reality, and know and show how to replicate their success. Over time, they create a dedicated group of friends, fans and followers to help them replicate and scale their ideas into sustainable change not just in one company but in an industry, niche or across an entire ecosystem. Your Portfolio Project will consist of 3 parts, including a class presentation. Remember - all 3 parts of the Portfolio Project are related, with each part building on the next part. Project Description: For your Portfolio Project Part 1, you will write a blog post/article where you will demonstrate your thought leadership by discussing the implementation of a digital marketing strategy for a business. Write your responses to the following questions and post it as a blog post or article on its own Mahara page: - What are the benefits of integrating a digital marketing strategy into a business? - What are those key factors from a business that need to be pulled into the marketing strategy? - How does social media fit in this strategy? What are the opportunities and challenges of implementing both paid and organic social media? - How does email fit in a marketing strategy? - What are some of the KPI's that a business needs to focus on when evaluating a marketing strategy? Write at least 400 words for your article. Include a title as part of the posting. Make sure to check your spelling, grammar, and punctuation in your writing before submitting.
