MNE Country Final Paper Canada
I have already written the Abstract:
Multinational enterprises (MNEs) refer to companies that operate in various countries in different parts of the world. There are various MNEs both in developed nations as well the developing world. In my paper, I will talk about all there is to know about some Multinational Enterprises in the country of Canada as well as the economy of Canada. Canada has 3 firms among the top 100: The Thomson Corporation, SEAGRAM, and ALCAN. In total, 1565 parent firms reside in Canada (out of a world total of 38 747), and there are 4708 affiliates of foreign firms in Canada (out of a world total of 265 551). Canada also has General Motors of Canada Limited which is a subsidiary of General Motors, the largest vehicle, automobile, and industrial corporation in the world. Canada has a highly developed economy and it is one of the largest in the world. Canada's economy is somewhat similar to the United States, with a key difference. Canada exports more than they import.
