Mock exercise-Im responding to a government contract protest claiming I improperly chose a sole source contract. This protest was filed on time, but claims they can provide supplies and services requested. They claim they have equipment, personnel, and can deliver on the time requirements. The company has previously rejected doing business with the government due to their view on the U.S. involvement in ongoing wars. The contract in question involves the lifesaving veterinary care of war dogs and because the contract isnt related to politics, they claim they would have submitted a bid proposal for the contract. My question is, with regards to the FAR, what will my Memorandum of Law state that I correctly followed the regulations and their protest is not valid? I know there must be a regulation Im looking over as Prof stated that my team can win this protest, although the facts stated by the company are true. They can deliver requirements of the contract. This must relate to previous rejections, but I cant find the regulation. Thank you in advance
