  • Measure the length of your forearm (in inches)from elbow to wrist.
  • Record your height (in inches).

Step 2:

  • Find a partner from the class or someone in your life who can measure.
  • Exchange your measurements.This will give you two ordered pairs: (forearm length, height)

Step 3:

  • Use your ordered pairs to find the slope
  • Using the slope you obtained and your personal measurements, use point-slope form to get your equation
  • Solve for y so that it is in slope-intercept form

Step 4:

Graph the line on the Desmoswebsite using the y-intercept, your point, and your partner's point. If you are correct, your line should go through all three.
