Module 4: Discussion: Supply Chain Strategy Discussion Topic Supply chain strategy should be built around four key cornerstones: inventory, distribution, facilities, and customer service. Describe how you see the cornerstones of supply chain management being practiced in the organization that you work. How is the inventory acquired and accounted for? How is the inventory distributed and tracked? Where is the inventory stored prior to distribution? Finally, how is the customer served as a result of good supply management? Be sure to give some examples. You might find it helpful to keep these questions in mind when interviewing the health care facility manager responsible for the supply chain management that you will be meeting with as part of your case study. Be sure to support your conclusions with facts from the readings and/or video assignments. Link theory to practice in your comments by relating your personal perspective with the information you have read or watched.
