1) Describe Compliance-Based codes of ethics.

2) Describe Integrity-Based codes of ethics.

3) Find an example of a compliance-based and of an integrity-based code of ethics. Examine the differences in each type.

4) Research the authoritative literature relating to ethics for accountants. Prepare a review of your findings.

5) Do any penalties exist for accountants who violate accounting ethics? Explain.

Requirements:

• All work needed to arrive at your answer should be displayed and decisions should have a discussion of the reasoning used to arrive at the decision. If there are divisions to the problem, label them appropriately.
• Any written explanations should use complete sentences, and appropriate grammar, punctuation, spellingand word usage.
• All citations should be in proper APA style. All journal articles, media and books should be referenced according to APA style (the library has a copy of the APA Manual).
• The paper should be formatted per current APA and 4-5 pages in length, excluding the title, abstract and references page.
