In this assignment, you will illustrate and explain the operation of a device that uses electrostatics in its operation. Examples of devices you may can choose are: photocopy machine, electrostatic precipitator (electrostatic air cleaner), or electrostatic painting. You will create a poster, brochure or webpage to display your findings. Full credit submissions must include: Accurate description of the basic purpose of the device. Labeled diagram that shows the how the device operates. Identification of and explanation of two charging process(es) used in the device. Proper use of at least seven words form the topic vocabulary list. You will need to use at least two resources outside of this course to complete this assignment, so please submit a Works Cited document with your assignment submission.
