Molecular Models and Isomerisi. The olfective of this caercine is to become farmiliar with the spatial arrangement of organie molecules and is observe the phenemenon of igotperism. Bonding rules: Carbon must hive 4 bonds to th; hodrogen 1 bond; asygen 2 bonde; and 1. Construct four methane (CH4 ) molecules taing 1C,4H, and 4 bonds for each molecule. Draw the threedimensional ftructure for this CH4 molecule. 2. Remove an H atom from each of two CH4 molecules. You now have two methyl groups, CH2. Bond these two methyl groups together using a bond to give a model of ethane, CH2CH3(C2H6. Draw the three-dimensional structure of this ethene molecule. 3. Remove an H atom from the ethane molecule and an H atom from another methane molecule. You now have an ethyl, CH2CH2, and a methyl, CH3, group. Bond these groups together with a bond to form a molecule of propane, CH2CH2CH2(C2H3). Draw the three-dimensional structure of propane. 4. Construet two ethyl groupe and bond them together. You now have a model of butane, CH3CH2CH2CH2(C4H30). Draw the thret-dimensional structure of this molecule
