Monitor and adjust performance strategies
Scenario 2: Six months later |
Six months after the initiation of using the new hemp product for insulation, all team members have successfully been training and are correctly installing the product. The efficiency rating audit has confirmed 10% efficiency improvements. Also waste from installation of the product has reduce by 20% and the speed of installation has Improved by 15% as the team becomes better at this work. However, the installation of the solar panels has not been as successful. There are not enough qualified team members to install them in a timely and safe manner. Therefore, installation is delayed, the building finish times are also delayed and some of the panels have been smashed. There is an opportunity to amend this strategy by looking into specialist companies. |
1. Conduct a role play meeting with team members to discuss the continuous improvement strategies and processes in scenario 2. The purpose of the meeting is to: Inform the team members about the continuous improvement KPIs and outcomes Discuss sustainability outcomes and other insights To brainstorm how to adjust the improvements that are not meeting the KPIs To discuss opportunities to amend the underperforming improvements.
The meeting should be approximately ten (10) minutes in length and involve at least two (2) participants playing the part of team stakeholders.
To prepare for the role play ask participants to play their rolesand brief them fully on their roles which will require providing you with feedback. It is highly recommended that you use participants from your class and conduct all role plays in workshop time. Fellow students will be familiar with the unit of competency requirements, and you won't have to do the role plays in your own time.
