Moon Fuel uses self-managed teams to develop and produce new websites. Some of the members of the team are engaged in social loafing, and other members of the team are reluctant to say anything. Team members are supposed to provide performance evaluation of each other at the end of each project, but some rate everyone equally to avoid conflict. This practice has caused low moral on the team because hard work results in the same pay as does loafing. Some team members are complaining that it is unethical to rate everyone the same way when individual performances differ so much.
