More and more people are opting to work from home.I have heard from two people in HR positions that this is often the first question that an applicant asks.There are clearly some jobs that you cannot do from home.Paralegal falls somewhere in the middle.There are some things you simply cannot do from home - land records search (depending on the county), notary services, real estate closings, etc.How important is working from home for you?My big struggle is how do I train a new paralegal (or any position) if they are working from home?Should some in-person training be required?What are some of the disadvantages to working from home?How do you manage a team of people if everyone is remote?
