Most notably Presidential Candidate Elizabeth Warren, as well as many others on her side of the political isle, have been pushing the idea of a "Wealth Tax," which would be a tax not on income but on the wealth that an individual over an arbitrary amount has.Of course This would most effect the likes of Buffett, Bezos, Gates, among other super wealthy.But what effects would such a tax have?Essentially all of these have declared that they are going to give 100% or nearly so away upon their death to charity anyways so what does that say about their belief in the fiduciary possibility of government, even if those like Buffett pretend to "want to pay more taxes?"
