The motivational factor I would use is the incentive theory. The incentive theory is great because it rewards employees for doing work that is either more then what is being asked of them, or doing the job that no one wants to do. In the ER a lot of customer reps and service check in employees can make almost double what they usually make in incentives when they pick up a shift when there is no one available or no one claiming a shift. I've seen a shift nobody wants go to 10 people asking for it because of incentives. It's a powerful tool to use to really get the most of your employees. I would use this because I know I could get the most out of my employees and get the hard jobs or harder services completed by my employees, which in return makes the company run smoother
