Mr Chan is keen to purchase any genuine 'Van Gogh' painting for his newly built mansion. After visiting a number of galleries in Kuala Lumpur, he finds what he believes to be a genuine 'Van Gogh' painting at Mr Tatau's gallery. Mr Chan inspects the painting and questions Mr Tatau about the painting's authenticity. Mr Tatau, who believes that the painting is to be one of 'Van Gogh' assures Mr Chan that it is genuine.
