Mr Chan is keen to purchase any genuine "Van Gogh' painting for his newly built house. After visiting a number of galleries in Kuala Lumpur, he finds what he believes to be a genuine 'Van Gogh' painting at Mr Kwong Soo's gallery. Mr Chan inspects the painting and questions Mr Kwong Soo about the painting's authenticity. Mr Kwong Soo, who believes that the painting is to be one of 'Van Gogh' assures Mr Chan that it is genuine.
