His goal is to consume 500 units of Vitamin A, 150 units of Iron and 300 units of Calcium each day. Because of pressure from his wife, he insists on taking at least 1 Geritol per day as a minimum. The cost per vitamin is $.02 per Centrum pill and $.03 per Geritol pill. How many of each pill should he consume daily to ensure he meets his minimum goal at the lowest cost and what is that cost?
