Mrs. Quimby is an eighty-year-old woman and retired schoolteacher. She likes to go to the local public park and feed the ducks. She is sitting at her usual bench feeding the birds when Brewster approaches her and grabs her purse. He runs away. Mrs. Quimby stands up and unstraps the .38 caliber snub nose revolver that she keeps on her ankle. She puts four shots in Brewster's back which kill him. She reclaims her purse.
