Estimate the time it takes to travel 10 feet at a constant speed. If you are using a bottle, roll it three feet at a constant speed and estimate the time it takes. Use the time you estimated, the circumference and the distance to determine the speed. How many revolutions did it take to travel the distance? Compute the speed in radians per second. This is angular speed. What is the maximum height of the point you chose? Construct a model using sine as a function of tin seconds for the vertical motion of the height of the point on the wheel or on the bottle. t= 0 should correspond to when the point is on the ground. Graph your model using Desmos and include your graph with your report. Using your model, determine the height of the point on the wheel or bottle ten seconds after the start. Using the graph, estimate the height of the point on the wheel or bottle ten seconds after the start. How close are your answers?
